The Gallery ABQ

The Gallery ABQ has been in business for twenty years featuring all local artists. They are an artists owned fine arts and crafts person gallery with a wide variety of contemporary medias, subjects, and styles. They have an artist reception the first Friday of every month from 5-8pm. They embrace creativity and innovation, allowing each member artist to express their individual point of view while maintaining the highest standards.
For this reason, The Gallery ABQ is one of Albuquerque’s best places to go see and purchase local art. They have an Art Reception coming up on Friday, April 5, from 5:00- 8:00pm, featuring artists such as Marcos O Reyna, Kari Bell, Connie Falk, Joseph Koetter, Mark M. Feldman, and many more. You can go meet with the artists then or you can stop by the gallery anytime during the month to see their art.
Fine Arts Gallery at Expo New Mexico

Built in the early 1940s as State Fair Administration Offices, the building was converted to the Fine Arts Gallery in the late '50s as the Fair grew exponentially. Today the Fine Arts Gallery sits as one of the crown jewels of the property, regularly hosting some of the most prestigious art shows in the region, not to mention New Mexico.
It's also home to the New Mexico State Fair's extensive and awe-inspiring permanent collection, composed of artwork collected over a span of almost eight decades that showcases some of the finest--and most famous--New Mexican artists of all time.
The Fine Arts Gallery is the premier location in central New Mexico for high-brow art shows. Mariposa Gallery

Mariposa Gallery is contemporary craft gallery, and it is one of the oldest of its kind here in the United States. They have been open since 1974, and they have many exhibits to offer, some focusing on ceramics, jewelry, and contemporary art. Every piece has a story, and they all have descriptions that truly make them come to life.
This little gallery offers a beautiful array of creations, and it isn't like your typical gallery experience where maybe only a single type of art is being offered for viewing to the public. Here at Mariposa, you get to see how art can take on so many forms, in so many different ways.
The appreciation for creativity is palpable here, with rich history and a true love of art. The boundaries or art were tested in this era of creation, like in the rest, and it shows in each of the pieces. There is a careful balance that is maintained by the diversity in art mediums shown.
